Ever since I was young I have been fascinated by all the different kinds of birds of prey. I think what appeals to me the most is the fine balance between gracefulness and savagery, and also their majestic appearance. The sharp contrast between the quiet soaring and the swift merciless dive towards the prey is truly remarkable. Even though the course of nature momentarily can be quite barbaric and cruel, it is most often also quite beautiful.
